podi boost gauge arrived!
I ordered a podi boost gauge on April 7th on sale for $85 USD plus shipping and it arrived today in the mail. That is less that a week with regular USPS shipping! It was VERY well packaged and it looks great. I haven't installed it yet but will post picks\review when I get back from Mexico next week!
Oh, I almost forgot! They included a lanyard and a sticker as well that I wasn't expecting. Nice little bonus.

The boost gauge like this.
I thought about a steering column pod but don't like anything blocking the speedo or gauge cluster. Just a preference. I would have loved to integrate it into the defog air vent for the drivers door window to flip up when the ignition is on and drop back down when keyed off, but I just recently picked her up at the end of 2009 and don't want to cut into her just yet.
Next will be a chip in November/December when APR has their annual sales event and I wanted to get the boost gauge installed before I get it flashed. They currently have a sale on until the end of April but I can't coordinate a family trip and be there in time as most of the tuning shops in Vancouver are not open on the weekends. The downer of living on the Island.

Re: podi boost gauge arrived!
Also if you can't get over there on a weekday, I got a hold of a guy who is willing to come in on the weekend to do the flash. The shop is named Shift Autosport on Willingdon and the contact is Richard 604-568-1848, info@shiftautosport.ca. He said that he usually doesn't open weekends but is there at least 1 of the 2 days and can make arrangements to meet you there. Good luck with the flash. Hope you enjoy it. Tell us how it is once you get it.

Re: podi boost gauge arrived!
i have the center vent gauge just like in the picture. pretty fun watching the needle
definitely worth the extra time to hook up the light too.
And shift autosport is definitely on my recommend list.

Re: podi boost gauge arrived!
I got the Podi installed yesterday, took about 2 hours (taking my time) from start to finish and it looks great. The kit was excellent and there is no buzz or noise from the gauge. It looks great at night with the red LED lighting and matches the stock color almost exactly. It does block the speedo up to about 25 kms\hr but who really looks at the speedo at anything under 30 anyway? If you don't have one of these things I say get one! Best $100 I spent on the car so far!

Pics!
Matches the stock lighting pretty well
Little closer look
With the car turned off
I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
Oh, and Mexico was amazing. All except the sunburn!
