I'd really like to know your advice on 2.5" vs 3" pipes. I found a great deal on a no-name 2.5" pipe, 110$ shipped. Compared to 160+SH, it is worth the price difference but at what price in terms of power??

umm i know that but having a test pipe does not mean he automatically has the stage 2 file lol

anyway ricke you need a 2.5 pipe.

Well, I ordered this pipe on ebay, 120$ shipped...

When it will be installed, I'll go Unitronic stage 1+, since I will have no other choice to remove the permanent check engine warning because of this pipe

if u got alot of kms on ur car, dont use seafoam on the crank case, it tends to send all the sludge to the oil pump, even get stuck in the small areas that oil passes through, i use it in my intake tho, works great

Guys,

I wonder if I am experiencing the same issue now. My 2002 Audi A4 1.8T quattro has been lack of power these days. It used to be very responsive when I hit the pedal to accelerate the car. But now it's not that responsive anymore. Once in a while I could hear the turbo sound and it worked great like before. However, for the past few days, I barely can hear the turbo sound when accelerating the car.

I replaced all ignition coils two months ago and the air filter last week.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try resetting the throttle body.
If you have a vag com,
http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/throttlebody.html
If you don't just google Audi a4 throttle body adjustment and there is a way to do it with the key. This might help
