Hey Sonic. Truthfully, if they said "Sorry, there's nothing we can do for you" would you have.

A. Said, oh well pulled out your wallet and handed them 9K
B. Said, oh crap, I'll have to see what I'm going to do and leave the dealership.

I'm not trying to be an ***. I'm just trying to make a simple point. The dealer went the extra mile because they wanted the 9K. The fact that it also helps you out is just a bonus. I'm sure that if you had a $100 issue with your car they would have said. Tough luck, you have to pay for it and they wouldn't have fought for you. I'm sure they're nice guys, but seriously guys, they fought hard because there was 9K on the line.

Seriously though, Audi Canada has numerous compliments from me in regards to their service staff and especially their service manager.

Here's my extra-mile story.

I bought a CPO car from BC. Being an idiot, I didn't check my spare until I needed it. The spare was warn under 4mm and the rim was smashed. Called Audi Canada and explained my situation. After threatening the BC dealer, they agreed to have the rim repaired and a new Pirelli P6 tire mounted on - at their cost. Crosby's took care of all the work for me, and the service manager at Crosby's helped me whenever she could.

Crosby's even repaired the rim for less than they charge extra customers, because the BC dealer wanted to use one of those mobile rim repair places....and they did so, just to help me out. I think that speaks wonders in itself....

No your right,if they said screw you, i would of faught it, got a lawyer involved and this would of been a month if not longer proccess to get my car fixed. Point is that i DIDNT have to do any of that. I dont care if the dealer got the 9000 from audi or not, they still treated me like i bought an R8 and that my car was the most valuble thing to them. If getting 9000 for a repair was so easy, dont you think there would be more stories on the audi forums world wide that say the same story?? theres none.

End of the day, Crosby did what it took, regardless if there was money it for them, to get my car fixed at no money from me. No lawyer, no fighting, even with no warrenty.

both. Morgan i deal with most of the time but hes on vacation right now. Kate was the one who handeled this claim.

have had my A8 only at Crosby for the exact reason you mention in your e-mail. been to Mississauga been to Oakville only Crosby for me!!
