Purchased a 2003 A4 Quattro 1.8T last October (loving it) - anyhow, in anticipation of potential maintenance, I have been trying to buy a maintenance book, like a bently, or haynes manual. Cannot seem to find one for this year group. There is one that claims to be, but the book does not specifically mention the 2003 year group and it is a common manual for the Audi A4 and Passat. Any ideas?

Bentley is the factory-authorized repair manual: B6/B7 A4. You can also get the DVD version which is somewhat different; although, I can't say how specifically as I've never used the digital version. Check Amazon or other vendors for a better price.

I don't know how it is for B6 models of the A4, but for my B5 A4 I have a VW Passat manual. Since the 1999-2001 Passat and A4 models are more or less exactly the same. Except for Audi being the nicer car.

The internet always has good prices (Amazon.com as mentioned by cheeba). If you don't like purchasing over the internet, go to your local gas station/pharmacy and buy a prepaid visa. If the book is 25.99 including taxes for example, get a visa with 25.99 paid onto it and you shouldn't have a problem purchasing it.

Best $10 I ever spent!

Thanks - can't believe I missed the bentley in my first searchings. The Elsawin shop CD sounds like a sweet deal, will have to look into it.
