LED Licence Plate- thoughts
Guys,
I'm picking up a set of LED lights for my back plate.
Please let me know which of the following you think would be best
1. One with 3 SMD LED chips per bulb is $29.74US a pair.
2. The other one with 6 SMD LED chips per bulb is $44.99US a pair.
I'm leaning towards the 6 chips....but i don't want it TOO bright
Your thoughts??

i just bought some from H2Sport in Georgetown, ont. they were $9 each... gonna toss them in and make sure they work without tripping the error code. He couldnt be certain but i know someone here suggested that i go there and the ones i got to get from there.

these are gaurenteed to be 'error free'. What does that mean?
They also have a lifetime warranty
Is there any special installation needed? Or just unscrew old and screw in new?

yup... just put them in and it will work, if light doesn't come on just turn it around.
the error code free is because the led uses less power than stock so it trips up thinking the light is out cause its not drawing enough power. the ones you are looking at have a resistor to prevent that from happening. hope that helps

just looked at the link now and they look almost the exact same as to what i bought. i just got intake/sway bar upgrades done and H2Sport so i bought the bulbs while i was there... $18 for both of them.

Got the same ones from H2 and they work great, hardly ever get error codes!
