Some AV gas is unleaded, but I can assure you that most of it still has lead in it! It's a lot lower than it was in the past, but it's still leaded.

How was your experiment Jordon?
Did you have increase in power?
I am going from Calgary to Invermere BC to get my wine and some spare ponies would be a nice thing to have going through Rocky Mountains.

What else may I add to gas to increase power?

Adam, increasing the effective octane rating in your fuel will not yield any performance improvements. You'll need tuning and/or timing advancement to take advantage of the increased combustibility resistance of higher octane-rated fuel. With VAG-COM you can tweak the timing and fuel trims yourself, but you can break things if you don't know what you're doing.

You can gain a fair bit of power going from 91 to 100 octane with the appropriate tuning.
