Last week I noticed some condensation appearing in both headlights (xenon hid's)
Now I have a Dynamic Headlight Level Sensor warning....

Is the condensation causing the sensor warning? The headlights do work, but are not set to the correct level as it used to automatically adjust itself to the weight of the car.

Is there an easy fix for the condensation? Or do I have to purchase brand new headlights.

Any advice would be appreciated!

The actual sensor is attached to the suspension so the condensation wouldn't affect it. What can happen I believe is that the condensation can corrode the wiring to the sensor though. It's my belief that this is happening to my car as we speak. Fixing the condensation can be done but it depends on your level of comfort with DIY. You basically have to remove the headlights, inspect all the areas that are sealed and reseal anything that looks like it's not sealing. If you can't find a thread of anyone that's taken apart a headlight on here check tdiclub.com. There's been plenty of guys that have taken apart and resealed headlights over there.
