Except in this case as ALOT of people complained about the high coilpack failure rates so they are finally being addressed!

When I took mine in after receiving the letter, they replaced all of them. I asked if that meant that codes were thrown. Was told no that they check the product number of the coil and if it's the ones that have known issues they just replace them with the newer coil model. Can't remember the different product codes but there was a thread on it here.

I just bought my audi 3 weeks ago and decided i would run my VIN number on the above link and noticed i was part of the recall so i made an appointment and went in yesterday and they tol dme i had 3 aftermarket and one original so they replaced all 4 for nothing what a great company.

This is my first Audi and from now on i will always buy Audi. What great service from
