DENSO Canada Field Quality Study - OIL COOLER- A4 (01-08)
Hello Forum members,
DENSO Canada is looking for 2-3 Audi A4 or S4 owners in the GTA with Model years 2001->2008 4.2L, 3.2L & 3.0L to participate in a field quality study. Vehicles must have endured a minumum of 2-3 winter seasons.
Simply put, we would like to recover the old oil cooler to investigate the degredation and effect salt from Canadian roads has on the aluminum of the oil cooler. A brand new part will be purchased from Audi to replace the old one.
The work can be performed at an Audi dealer, an independant shop of choice or by the vehcile owner, all expenses will be paid by DENSO (parts, labor + gratuity). As a gratuity for your participation any parts or service (up to a maximum of $50) will be provided.
If anyone is interested please PM me or contact me directly.
I hope to receive some interest before the end of the month or I may be forced to close this request (first in Canada).
This would be a rare opportunity for Audi owners to be involved in product development for Europe. Real field data = better products.

The "appreciation" is in addition to the new part and it should also be noted that the engine oil will be changed as well.

Are there any 1.8 owners that can send me a few clear photos of the cooler fitted to their car. If there is a marking of the supplier (possibly KTM or Modine?) a pic of that is ideal
Currently my overseas contact has only the information for the 3.0, 3.2 & 4.2 engines. If I can get some details on the cooler fitted to the most common vehicles in Canada (1.
, I may be able to convince them the 1.8 should be part of the Field Quality study.
The part should look something like the photo, with the audi symbol and part maker info on the side.

Wow, no one is interested in free parts, labor and $50 for their vehilce???
