Clutch slave cylinder

Clutch slave cylinder
Looking for some help. My clutch system is loosing fluid. Emptied my brake reservoir twice. And have a puddle under the transmission. I'm assuming its the slave cylinder or the line to the slave. But I can't find the damn thing. I moved the coolant reservoir and looked. Don't see it or any wetness on that side. It seems to be wet on the passenger side and the top of the tranny. I've read as much as I can on it but can't find it. Does anyone have any advice on where it is on a 6 speed. Thanks.

Re: Clutch slave cylinder
Problem solved. It was the slave. piston rings went on it and was leaking into the transmission and out the drain holes at the bottom. So far no clutch issues thank god. But just some info for anyone who's interested. Audi apparently changed the slave set up some time though the production year. Early models have a plastic slave with a small fitting on the rigid hydraulic tube that goes to it. Later models have a metal slave with a larger fitting on the line. NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.
I had to order a slave from a 2005 to get the right one.
