Body repair under warranty

Re: Body repair under warranty
I've also had issues here when getting some work done relating to the TCM module. Felt completely ripped off after leaving there, with a huge bill to pay.
Heartland Audi is not the actual dealer name though you know that right?

Re: Body repair under warranty
The two closest to me are that one and then headed west would be oakville. Both in my opinion, need some work.
I went into BOTH requesting new center caps for my new rims, and they asked which rims and I said they are R8 replicas. And they said "well the problem with replicas, is they aren't replicas" Basically, they wouldn't sell me new caps. So when I put my new rims on, i just took the caps off my stock 17" and guess what?! THEY FIT!
Audi dealerships are such a headache, I find.

UPDATE!
So, I hadn't hear back from the original dealership that I dealt with for my claim, so I contacted Audi Canada, and after a couple days they called me telling me the dealership had no record of me ever being there!
So basically, they lost my pictures and paperwork, and I've been waiting around for three months for NOTHING!
Anyways, went back to the dealership, of course I am already slightly annoyed by the fact that I've wasted three months, and NOW they are telling me my car is NOT original paint, so it's not covered!
MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN PAINTED!
I've been reading around online, and they pull this on everyone all over the world apparently.
I was reading an Audi forum from the UK as well and they told the guy his car was not original paint, so it's not covered.
I am BEYOND annoyed by this, because this is a WELL-KNOWN problem on a TON of the B6, I've also seen it on some D2 as well, where the metal clip underneath rusts and pushes out the panel!
Anyways, in conclusion, I AM NOT HAPPY!!
I don't know how I can possibly prove that my car was never painted!
Anybody have any ideas to weigh in on this?

Are you the original owner ? Did you get any justification and proof of the paint not being the original ? Ask them to give it to you in writing.

Re: Body repair under warranty
Go my lift gate replaced under warranty. Rust started on the side of brake light. Contacted Pfaff Audi, then Audi Canada. Got approved in 2 weeks. Pfaff Autoworks did the replacement. Very happy with all the procedure

Re: Body repair under warranty
I don't think it matters if you are the original owner or not. I am a registered owner with Audi Canada. In order to speed up the process you contact Audi Canada, they ask you for the VIN and after that they need an Audi dealership to verify your claim. Pfaff Audi in my case got some pictures and in a couple of weeks they called me to schedule the repair.

Re: Body repair under warranty
THanks for the info. I'll register with Audi Canada and head to Pfaff. They are pretty close to me and heard they have great service. Is the rust warranty for the life of the car? Or ten years?
