Hey,

Since I'm in the market for a B6, I figured I'd ask everyone here first:

Ideally, I'll find one with a 3-spoke wheel (sportier) and black or metallic trim (trees don't belong in my car) - is there a specific package that I should be looking for?

I'm guessing the 3-spoke comes with the "sport" package (due to the wheel shifter buttons), but was that available with either the black or metallic trim?

well at first I thought you were talking about 3 spoke wheels but now I think you are talking about the steering wheel haha? If thats the case I have a the 3 spoke steering wheel but no wheel shifter buttons but I do have the sport package. and I have the metallic trim

Yeah I got the 3 Spoke steering with aluminum trim, sport package, and winter package, look for the sport package an easy way to tell is by looking at the shocks/springs and make sure they are red. Some people dont know sport vs regular and sell a sport at a regular price a huge advantage on my part negotiating the deal, LOL

beware places selling one as "sport" just because it has 17" wheels. Real sports have the red shocks and also the metallic interior trim.
I have a non-sport (plain black trim) but it did come with a 3-spoke wheel, so that's not a distinguishing feature. The interior beltline trim does come off and you can always trade it for a different one, so don't let that be the deciding factor.
