Default Audi A4 "S-Line or not" identification

Hi there,

I've bought my A4 recently and was wondering how to be sure mine is really an S-Line? It seems my bumpers look like all other A4s.

What makes an s-line an s-line?

Yes I have a little badge in the rear (not in the front!) but anyone could glue a badge on a car.

I have some doubts about the seller that's why I ask

Thanks!

Phone Audi Canada with your VIN number and ask them what factory options came with the vehicle.

VW Group Option Codes Decoder

If you check in the trunk/spare wheel well area you may find the sticker with the factory option codes; the option codes are also in your maintenance manual if you still have that. The link above can help you decode your factory options.

Is your A4 a 2002? There was no sline available in 2002.

s-line or ultrasport was different rear bumper, lower front spoiler, rear spoiler, and door blades.

i think it had perforated steering wheel and shifter **** as well.

you can see how the rear bumper has a black piece in it and a little shape. Notice the spoiler and door blades that flare out at the bottom of the door.

and there is pretty obvious on the difference with the front bumper. Fog grilles, its lower, has a little lip on the base.

hope that helped.

USP was not available in 2002. It was optional in 2004 and 2005 only.

yes it helped It's not an s-line but it's okay anyway. A body kit would have been nice but it's too much investment, I prefer to put it on performance.

The sline pkg you're describing was offered in the B7 platform and not on the B6, which is the one we are talking about.
