Default 2003 S4 headers for my A4 3.0 V6?

Does anyone know where to get the S4 headers that are for the supercharged
V6 3.0 30V engine?

I have an A4 with the same engine and I am looking to supercharge it with the
same supercharger as the S4.

I can't find a speed/performance shop that has them.

Thanks.......

Not putting "NEW" S4 headers putting 2003 S4 headers that match my engine I have the AVK engine and the 2003 S4 is the AVK engine with the supercharger.
The supercharger I want is the same one that comes on the 2003 S4 but the company that makes it says it would be a very good idea to get the full S4 exhaust. I am not looking for a problem keeping the stock exhaust.

Are you sure its the same engine? For example I have a B7 S4 with the 4.2l with 5 valves per cyl. The RS4 also has the 4.2 but it has different fuel management system and 4 valves per cyl. I know how difficult of an engineering job it would be to put turbos on my car yet there was a version of the 4.2 with twin turbos.

So how sure are you that your 2003 engine is the same engine internally than the new S4 engine?

I am not trying to put you on the spot or anything its just that I don't know and am just making sure you are heading in the right direction with your question.

On another note I don't believe the new S4 came with headers, they probably came with an exhaust manifold which is different than headers. Headers allow for the exhaust gasses to escape completely without interfering with the other cylinder exhaust that a typical exhaust manifold does. I do know of a fellow that will custom make tuned headers and if you are interested let me know?

I have seen the both engine exhaust manifold gaskets and everything looks exact. What I am wondering is do I need the exhaust to have the same diameter exhust as the S4? And does the supercharger need the blow off ports like a turbo? If so I beleive the S4 superchared engine exhust would have exactley what I am looking for.
Yes or No?

To my knowledge, the B6 S4 never came as a 3.0 SC motor, it was 4.2 NA. I will do a little checking of my facts though

All information I find is incorect about the 2003 S4.
Look for pictures/info/specs. Get 2004 PICS/2005-2009 info/2004 SPECs.
ConsumerReport says the 2003 does NOT exist. They call it the A4/S4 but show 2004 info
and label it 2003. And it even says 2004 in the articles.

Audi themselves say that the 2003 Ultrasport A4 doesn't exist.
Its actualy the 2004 that uses the name Ultrasport.
But if you search used cars you'll find used car places selling a 2003 Ultrasport. Looks like an 2004 to me. 2003 NO antena fin. 2004 antena fin.
2004 is the first year they used the 4.2L v8 340hp. Not 2003.

In my research from magazine listing they stoped making the 2.7L turbo A4/S4 in 2002.
In 2003 I see 3 A4/S4 engines the 1.8t 200hp , 3.0 220hp , 3.0 S4 supercharged with 328hp.

Its pissing me off I can't find the information on the 2003 S4 3.0 supercharged version.
All the info seeking I have done I lost it.

The s4 went from the 2.7TT on the B5 to the 4.2L V8 on the B6.... Just get 2.7 headers if that's the route you want to go.... A good resource for your questions would be SCAudi.com These guys already have superchargers and can answer your questions. Also a few guys on audizine.com that have them on their 3.0 B6's as well.

There was no FI AVK engine - it was NA only. The S4 was also not produced in North America for 2003. And, the only factory supercharged S4 is the B8.

That said, you may find parts that bolt to all sorts of engines - VAG utilizes their parts bin very well. I have a MKIV Golf 2.0L crank, and a B5 A4 head on my engine Of course, whether or not it actually fits in your engine bay, and bolts up to everything else besides the engine is another question. You're gambling if you think randomly Googled sites is going to help you out much in that regard.

Again all information I have found has been unverifiable.
I have seen multiple pictures from about 5 months ago but can't find them any more.

I saw several what was said to be and looked like 2003 S4's not US versions.
These S4's had the 3.0 supercharged and listed as factory cars with 328hp.
The exhust pipes/header gasket was removed and pictures of it and the A4 I have
were exact. The S4 that it came from was said to be the AVK engine.

What I am trying to do is find out if this information is correct.
So far I have companies that make superchargers say that they make their supercharger
for both the S4 and A4 3.0 AVK engine.
They recomend that I get the 2003 S4 3.0 headers for my car if I get their supercharger.
They beleive that an S4 3.0 V6 30v engine exists and not only the B8 version.

Whatever you saw must have been an engine swap, there was never a stock b6 s4 with this engine for either North American or European variants.
Like I said go to scaudi.com or audizine.com for more information on this, a quick search of either forum will give you a wealth of information from people who have supercharged the engine you have.
If you're looking into horsepower above and beyond the bolt-on pes g3 supercharger (which by the sounds if it you are) you are going to have to beef up the bottom end of your motor anyways.
Check the B6 forum on audizine for build threads of this.
