Was wondering if anyone could help me with a recent issue with my trunk lid. It will lower, but will not lock. I thought it might have something to do with the safety latch in the trunk compartment, but it did not seem to be the issue. The car will not alarm with the lid failing to lock (even though the doors lock). Any help is greatly appreciated

Seems like your truck latch might be faulty. I had the same problem and had it replaced and works fine again

I removed the trunk lid liner and it seems like the motor/actuator was stuck. Once I removed it from the latch I was able to close the trunk. I had a feeling it was this issue because there was no noise coming from the motor/actuator when I used the FOB, rear handle, or the switch on the driver's side door. Now that I have the motor/actuator removed does anyone recommend where to get a new one? If anyone has done this I would really appreciate your knowledge on this.
