Default 02 A4 PLEASE help

i have an 02 a4 and recently i have lost all my power...i brought it in to the dealer to be scanned and they toldme i had a misfire in cylinder 3. they told me it could be my fuel pump or my spark coils. i replaced all 4 plugs and coils and the pump and still no get up and go power...now they want me to buy a new DV. Should i do this? does anybody have any sugestions on what this could be?

I would also consult a local Audi independent garage with the information you currently have before going forward...

Hi
I am not far from being mechanically inclined...however if you have already changed everything the dealer told you then a diverter valve should not cost you more than $200 installed.
If you change it and the problem persists then they should be smart enough to explain!
I did a quick google search and check the link below for any mechanics who might give you a sencond opinion or ask around locally to know who works on VAG and or German cars
Hope that helps
