It is just for the 1.8T. Your 3.0 engine is a gem. Enjoy!

Does anyone know if this settlement is active in Canada? If so, how do I go about getting things settled.

Thanks in advance

"If you haven't heard from Audi about this reimbursement call 1-800-651-9219 & KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS."

From one of the earlier posts in this thread - if the number doesn't work, give Audi Canada a call anyway.

Do you know the number for the same settlement but for a 2003 passat? I have a passat and the motor just went because of this issue. I googled it and just heard about this settlement. I understand the audi and passat are both included. However, everything I am finding online is for American, so I was wondering if anyone knew if this was active in Canada?

Thanks again.

@Todd - in that case I'd suggest calling VW Canada and asking them - 1-800-822-8987

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't they just extend the oil sludge to a 10 year warranty kind of deal or is it lifetime? I went to register my Audi and they said that my warranty ran out in 2012 (I cannot remember if this was the oil sludge or something else).
