Hey Guys,

So after having my Baby parked for 2 months i have booked her in for a KO4-15 Turbo Kit @ Kinetic will also be putting on a full exhaust system KO4 upgrade chip,manifold of some sort est est.
I have read up on it on VWVortex and searched on dubberz & here, but havent realy got any educational feed back from people that acctualy have the kit or have experience with it. What should i expect? Would you do it again?
I know B/T is the way to go, but at this time im looking reliability and keeping the cost down as i have other investments to worry about.
I own a 2001 Audi A4 5spd 1.8T

Winston aka. MCHammered ran a K04 in his B6 A4 wagon for a while. The general consensus is with the slim price difference between K04 and some of the eliminator setups the K04 isnt worth the money for the B6 guys. But for the B5's its a reasonable upgrade as you dont have a 1+ (software + injectors) option so jumping from the 200 horses that the chip gives you to the 230 that the K04 will provides and the increase in the powerband will be nice. Are you going to upgrade to the APR K04 software ?

Yup ill be upgrading my current APR chip to the KO4 apr chip, as well as putting on full exhaust system with manifold injectors and spark plugs est est. So i just wanna find out what diffrence im gonna feel when driving?

I thought APR does not make a K04 software chip for the B5,...only for the B6.
Am I wrong?
I always thought GIAC, NEUSPEED dominated the B5 K04-015 crowd.

I have a 2000 A4 1.8T and I want a K04 upgrade. I prefer APR.

Independent Tuning has GIAC while H2Sport and Pfaff Tuning have APR.

Where did you get it done? which K04 kit did you buy?
