Default What should I be paying for a cat-back exhaust?

So I recently bottom'd out and toasted my exhaust...

I'm looking to get a cat-back exhaust... 2½" piping with either a Borla or Magnaflow muffler(pref Borla).

I have heard 2½" piping is ideal for our car... is 3" overkill?

Please list prices / geographical location.

Thanks!

yes 3 inchs is overkilll but really theres no such thing as over kill....more air out, less restrictions. The turbo itself will create eough back pressure on our cars that you dont need to worry about the exhaust.

As for cost...in waterloo i can get a full magnaflow system for about 1200 installed....if i get just the mufflers and have them do the piping, it was around 1000.

hope that helps.

Hi absolute,

i didnt have it done, just quoted but that was quoted at the muffler shop at the corner of university and...1 block east of king street. sorry dont remember the name of the street. It had a sign like speedy muffler.

As for work though, i had my transmission done at pioneer transmision in waterloo.

hope that helps!

Neuspeed makes a nice catback as well. Got mine used for 400 and it sounds so sweet.
