I'm not sure where you could get those seals done in Quebec...
I got mine done at H2 Sport in Georgetown , Ontario.
The seals themelves are really cheap! It's the labour that will be expensive.
they need to take off both rear wheels and both rear driiveshafts in order to get
to the diff seals. @ $75/hour, The job cost me around 250 bucks with taxes.
Iwas eager to get those seals replaced quickly on my car because I didn't like the idea of my diff running highway speeds without proper oil pressure and sealing.
I suggest you get that done soon.

try Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto
1997 AUDI A4 QUATTRO 2.8L 2771cc V6 FI (A) [AFC] : Drivetrain : Axle Differential Seal
$4.23/pc laughable compared to the labour it'll cost you...

Re: Rear diff seals any1?
I'm looking at the invoice from H2Sport ....they charged me $7.98 per seal.
I didn't bother looking for cheaper seals because H2Sport had them in stock and I didn't have to wait for delivery, as i would if I had ordered them from the net or somewhere else.

yeah... as long as you have a source to get them locally, it's probably a better idea... it's not worth getting $8 worth of parts shipped from the states... but if there's noone in your area that has them it's not like you can walk into Canadian Tire and get them...

Re: Rear diff seals any1?
Hello i see my 02 1.8t is in need of Rear differential repair. From either side of the diff is oil but have not seen a drip on the parking spot? Any idea what possible costs and seals needed. Also what a exhaust system Audi designs. Two pieces after the manifold. Why make two mufflers, the cat converter and a few more feet of exhaust all one piece? Because if dealer serviced you would have to buy entire system even though all that leaked was one hole before the cat converter. So now i have to bring to a exhaust shop to butcher a repair!

About the exhaust, Many guys put together their own exhaust systems i.e. they don't buy a one piece exhaust. some, like me, like to customize it.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would buy a whole new exhaust system just because ther is one home in it. Unless they need a reason to upgrade to a performance exhaust....then I can understand!
