Oil leak, no power.Am I the proud owner of a 3000Lb paper weight?
Headed down to Edmonton yesterday, checked the oil before I left and everything was ok. 10 km outside the city the oil light comes on, not a stain of oil on the dipstick. I'd been noticing for a few kms the fuel economy seemed poor and there wasn't as much power but I assumed it was a coil.
Filled it back up and drove around the city a bit, everything seemed ok other than a small drop in power. Checked the oil in the morning and it was right on the mark, left for home and stopped a few times along the way checking everything.
Stopped for lunch and checked the oil again, all good. Accelerated away and immediately noticed a big drop in power. Feels like the turbo isn't working. Made it home, oil leaking out of the back of the motor now...
Any ideas?
Oh its a 2000 1.8T auto with 160K

ouch, could be bottom gasket, take it to the mechanic and check, dont drive the bloody thing!!!!! You may end up melting the pistons and ceasing the engine!!!! get away from it and get it towed to you shop. Dont even start it up, you might have even already screwed up the engine, don't risk it!
