Hi! I just got an accident with my mazda where i'm not responsible. So my car is scrap and I'm waiting for the money from the insurance. I really want to get an A4 B5!!

Today I saw an announce of a 1998 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8l Automatic (tiptronic)
WITH ONLY 300km Yes!! --000 300km--

This is the american model and the seller told me it was stored by an old man for 12 years in a garage in Québec.
The guy said he bouth the car but recently he got some problem so he need to sell ASAP.

First is it possible to hack the cpu and change the odometer? Can it be a scam? Or you think it is real?
PS: The car is not plated, I need to go make the safety check at the SAAQ.

Second question : What do I need to check when buying a car that was stored for so long? Parts will be jammed? Is there a good way to start a car after so much years?
