Re: a little bit of advice?
ON the other hand this is a reply I got from an APR dealer here in Guelph:
"Stage 1+ is for 2002-2005 A4 1.8Ts. Sorry.
We can flash your ECU, but we cannot upgrade the injectors to gain any more power.
Also, we may not be able to flash software onto your ECU without first soldering in a chip – we’d have to scan it first to see for sure. If we can flash the ECU without having to solder in a chip, then the price is actually $410 ($460 is the regular retail price). If we need to solder in a chip first, it’ll be $410 + $130 for parts and labour."
does this mean that the whole 225tt injectors deal is for b6 only? is it still recommended to get it for a b5? does it help? by how much (what is the hp gain for injectors)? will it still be stage 1 not stage 1+? or I am a bit confused now. Does my ecu require a chip to be soldered on or not?!
someone please advise

Re: a little bit of advice?
ya yours is probably going to need soldering mine didnt but its a 01 yours is a 98 as for the stage1+ its only for the b6 because the b5 1.8t has a diffrent fuel system setup than the b6 1.8t so doont waste your money on injectors because they are still just goin to load the stage 1 software.

Re: a little bit of advice?
no because the stage 1 software is designed to use stock injectors stage 1+ is with bigger injectors so the stage 1 software wont be using the TT injectors full capacity if that makes any sense. Im not saying they wont do anything at all but the price of the injectors compared to the HP gain you get runnin stage 1 is not worth it at all.
