Just some imperfections

Just some imperfections
For those of you who follow the New Members Section, I recently acquired a '97 A4, V6 Quattro 5-Speed. I have a few questions overall. One- What product would you all recommended for a real good wax job, plus as you can see, the grill is kinda bent and doesn't look good, what should I do, just pop it out and repaint it, then pop it back in? If so, should I paint it silver or black? The Audi logo is also coming off, and it's pretty bad, how do I fix that?
Also, wtf does this mean...
the guy I bought it from said it just indicates the sport suspension.
Two- I have this key...
I want something like this one...
Can I get a key like this for my '97? As you can see, ya'll are dealing with a real noob here. All the help is much appreciated.

Re: Just some imperfections
I can't make out the logo other than it says Porsche underneath. What else is on it? I have heard of B6 owners having B7 programmed keys but I don't know about your car.

Re: Just some imperfections
If I am not mistaken the logo may be from the famed RS2 which was a collaboration between Audi and Porsche. I believe the RS2 was only in the Avant and never did make it to our shores. So if thats the case the logo on your car is not OEM to your car. The grille material also does not look OEM to your car but a do it yourself deal. Tell us more about your car such as engine size, transmission etc.

Re: Just some imperfections
look at the remote half of your key. There's a fcc number there.
Now go ebay, look up remote for 2000 and 2001 audi a4. (i believe those were the years)
Those remotes are the lip key remotes. Match the fcc number and you're in luck.
Just need to get the key cut and reprogram and you are now with flip key remote.

Is this better?
Sorry 'bout the crappy pics. My car is a 1997 A4 with the 2.8 V6 mated to a 5-speed manual with Quattro. As far as the key goes, could the FCC # be HAA? Thats the only writing I see on it.

Re: Just some imperfections
That's the only key they gave you? There should be another remote with 2 buttons on it for the keyless entry. The fcc number is on that one. If you don't have that then yeah aftermarket system it is unless you want to get a used one and try to program that.

Re: Just some imperfections
Would the used one be cheaper? I just like the switchblade thing. Whoever designed these keys are GENIUS! I see you have about the same car, what does yours look like?

Would this be it?

I'll definitely post up some pics tomorrow. It was a quarter after 8 when I got done detailing it. And thank you. Is this just a package? The guy said he bought it from his brother-in-law in Germany and it got shipped here when he wanted to sell it. So it this something special since it's directly from Germany?
