Hp Issue
Ok so i know this has been asked many times but seriously whats the best bang for the buck in HP for our cars.
Just came back from Penticton and uhhh well.... let me tell you i dont like traveling up a hill with my foot 2/4 of the way down and only doing 60 while eeryone flys by me. Puttin the petal to the floor made no difference. I was quite shocked... And if anyone here knows the ride from vancouver to pentiction you know that 80% of the drive is hills and what not...
This car needs some *****.

gear first 5th then i gear down to 4th like i would with the talon then i would have to gear down to third and the rpm where she stayed was 3500 - 4200 nothin higher then that it was so sadd

Since i have this going ill ask an Exhaust Question. Will 2.5'' Really be enough?? I had a big *** 3'' cat back on the talon with test pipe. Ive been looking at magnaflow and theres a few nice counding 1.8t's on youtube. The downside is that they all come in 2.5..

2.5" should be more than enough on the stock k03s turbo. Anything bigger and you will be increasing turbo lag. The decrease in exhaust back pressure will increase turbo spool time.
I don't think you will get into the low 13's with the stock turbo. With injectors, exhaust, ecu tune, fmic, CAI you might push a low 14, high 13.

haha No way not with the stock. Im thinkin goin a k04 for now then goin a gt28 after that. I just need more power...
With the injectors is there another car that i can get upgraded ones out of. I know with the dsm i had the stock was 450cc and was going to get 550cc injectors out of a old RX7.
Whats our stock size btw?

So Just reading for over an hour it seems to be that there really is no use in me upping to a K04. As i have a 2001 which has a k03s. I was reading and the difference seems to be about 5hp difference. I guess ill get a bigger manifold, Up the boost a bit, Chip it, Exhaust. and go from there.
I think im gona go to RG and dyno my car stock then build it and dyno it again down the road
