Typically the harder you drive it, the sooner your wear items will need replacing.

If increased maintenance and related costs are not an issue, then have fun

Depends on the Torque Curve too. A 2.7T with buckets of low end torque does not need to hit redline for max power at every shift, especially in lower gears.
