How Far Can You Push Your "Distance Til Empty"?
Ok, so I know this depends on several things - like how you drive, etc.
But...
I was driving back to work today and the fuel warning beeped showing that I had 30kms til empty...
I kept driving til it said 10km and filled up when I passed a gas station...
With my other car, I know how long I can go - when it says "- - - -" I know I still have some driving left in it... But I have yet to see what comes after "10kms" on the dial... I have some fun seeing how far I can go on a single tank.

What is everyone else's experience? (Again, this is not a technical discussion...)

You guys are aware that running low on fuel can cause your fuel pump to fail. If you run it dry its pretty much a 50/50 chance. Its a finicky pump in our car

Ideally your gas tank especially in winter should never drop below half...besides running literally on fumes will send all the crap and debris in your fuel pump and gas lines

Wow! Some of you guys are brave! I have gone down to "10 km remaining" twice, and "30 km remaining" probably 4 or 5 times, but usually I refill with about a quarter tank if I can.
