Alright, thanks Corrado guy for your helpful information, I'll start with a checklist....
So today I did few things:
Changes air filter, cleaned MAF, cleaned throttle body, changes spark plugs, I also had 3 out of 4 coils from my last Audi so I put those in as well... i might buy one more because after i did each step i checked my car to see the change if any and the only thing that changed happened after I changed the coils.... the car is still hard to start in the morning but at least idling is slightly improved. It still idles high around 1700rpm but sometimes it drop down to normal.
I looked for leaks but no luck so far.... I'll do some more TLC lol and see where it takes me...
I bought new fuel filter and I'll check that next since I have it already.

The high idle points to an intake leak somewhere or a problem with the throttle body which controls the idle. Check the entire intake system and leak test it, there are threads on how to do this because any intake leak can make for hard start or a high idle. This doesn't cost anything and if the coils were not working properly I would think it would idle lower and not higher. When one of the packs failed on my Corrado it was certainly much lower but on those cars a coil controls two cylinders and not one. The idle thing seems to indicate a leak somewhere so check on this first.

Thanks Corrado, when I get some free time off work I'll jump on it and post the results.

just to go back to this leak test.... any idea how to do a leak test... a friend of mine told me that some places do a "smoke test" not sure if it's the same thing but on the same note the biggest smoke machine that I have is a cigarette lol
