one more thing, you might want to replace all the o-rings at each intercooler pipe connection (turbo to cross tube, cross tube to intercooler, intercooler to intake 1 & 2). They loose there elasticity and start to leak over time. They are a coulpe bucks a piece.

so the other day i checked all the boost pipes ect for cracked loose pipes.. im starting to think the wastgate is stuck open.. so inorder to know that what it is i will exbe riggin up a boost guage as a temp.. to see what psi im gettin i was told it should be 8 - 9 psi?
Also i will get the exhaust pressure checked... i noticed the flex pipe is torn.. i dont know it that would kill m power but yeah. I need to get it all done b4 the dark winter days come

Great Ozzie, I think some of the posters suggested the westgate in a roundabout way, that is, checking the things they suggested would have identified the wastegate.
Funny, the wastegate crossed my mind last night.
Good Luck

Nice thought, did Audi change anything in the bottom end of the TT engine to handle the additional boost. What is the effect of the additional boost over 160,000 kms? (rings, pistons, bottom end, etc.)
I get that it's great in the sort term, but some of us like to enjoy the car over a period of time.

I hope you'll be back to driving and fall in love with your AUDI all over again when fixed!
