car system where to put remote wire?
Hi Im new to this forum and just had a question..
my car came basically pre wired for a car system.. it has the RCA's that where hooked up to the rear left stock amp.
The problem is I was trying to hook the amp up in the dark and I pulled the remote wire out from where it was hooked up (this is the problem)... Now I read a diy on here on hooking up a system and in the DIY it has the remote wire hooked some where on the left rear speaker/amp to a white wire..... I looked for a dangling white wire and the only thing I can find is a white wire hooked through one of those blue things to another white wire...I have pics of what the set up looks like if anyone has any ideas please share. sorry for the bad pics..

Re: car system where to put remote wire?
Also is there a way to like hook the remote wire to something to see if the amp will turn on? Just to test and see if the amp is working right?

Scotch locks on a radio harness?????????
Do yourself a big favor, get a professional to rewire that correctly with a schematic of the vehicle and radio system. Don't attach anything to the "K" wire.
