Hi,

I did a search but couldn't find this topic. I have two questions and am hoping someone can help:

- Does anyone know if it is OK to charge a small tablet/laptop on my cigarette charger so I can listen to audio as I go? I've read about fire risks - but others refute this, so not sure if this is a myth.

- Has anyone charged a blackberry Q10 using older A4s?

Mine is a 2007 A4 cabriolet - and was built before many of today's smartphones (not that Blackberry Q10 is the latest....).

There are inverters that can be plugged into your cig socket which might be an option for you. Check out the auto accessories stores.
I've used these in the past, way before smart phones, for powering the PS2 and DVD players for my kids in an Odyssey without issues (for trips to FL and DC).
