b5 a4 parts
Hey guys,
So i own a 96 a4 b5 2.8 5 speed which is very closely approaching 200,000 km. Right now i am having a bunch of troubles with exhaust, suspension, brakes, etc. I know what to do with the exhaust problems so that isn't of worry, but what is the best aftermarket highflow, or regular catalytic converter to put into these cars? both of mine are clogged and its time to go through air care and test pipes will not cut it lol.
Next off is my suspension. I recently did the front s4 control arm kit and that still feels really good to this day. Now i need to do the rears as the car creeks like crazy and i do not feel safe taking it on longer trips with the bushings yelling at me like it does. I need to know of a place that sells suspension parts for the rear as all the local suppliers that i have access to are a bit confused about what i need Also my struts are blown so its time to upgrade my shocks. Currently i just have some eibach springs in there and they have lowered the car about 2 inch's or so. I like the ride height and i am torn between two possible setups, using some used (20,000 km or so) OEM sport struts with my springs, or spending a little extra and going with vmaxx or jom coilovers?
Lastly my abs and parking brake lights are on in my dash, and since then i have noticed that if i apply my brakes hard one of my right wheels locks up and starts skidding. Would that be an abs sensor, wheels speed sensor???
This car has been through alot the past couple months, i got hit back in december by an off duty cop and it took insurance 3 months to settle who was at fault and now its being delayed being fixed as i am now putting an oeittenger rs4 rep bumper on and they had to order headlights from germany so parts has been another month in the waiting. i just want to get this car back up to speed so i can enjoy her for another summer
thank you,
Kyle
