Default AUDI Scores Low - Consumer Guide

Look at this consumer guide Total mark is 100 and AUDI scores at less than 50% at 45.
However... TOYOTA scores at 71%!

So according to these "experts" Toyota handles better, has more acceleration and braking performance is just excellent. So I am asking why do I see them in the ditches all the time?

Toyota is not even a challenge for me on the road and I treat them as road blockers in general to be passed swiftly on either left or right side of the road, and I may use the grass, if it is slowpoking in traffic.

Where do they get idiots of this kind to write such things? Is Consumer Guide paid on the side by the Japs to produce this kind of lies?

I say to Consumer Guide as per attached picture.

PS. The nail is my Haloween Toy this year. It is bent around the finger but it looks like it went through the finger.

Yeah, that's my thing. These are not "experts". These are just people with opinions, dead wrong ones, if you ask me.

Didn't the B5 (96 - 01) A4 come with an optional 2.8L v6? lol

That being said, these consumer reports are highly subjective and should be treated as such. At the same time though, in the past Audi has had reliability issues in certain areas that may have given it a bad rep... personally I love Audi and just bought a brand new one and will probably continue to do so. That being said, I probably wouldn't have bought anything earlier than an 06 (if I had happened to be in the market at the time).

So are we going back in history or quoting today's reports for current models and Audi improvement over the years? If quoting history the year or the report and model should be specified.

Agreed, I see no point in quoting decade old consumer reports as a reflection of the current performance of Audi; however, a simple search would have revealed the existence of a 2.8 A4.

My reference was for current models as I would have expected the report was for current models. :

First of all I love my 2.8 because it is GODDAM FAST. I pass almost everything on the road and I do not know how.

Second you are a poor guy with above average IQ or in the healthcare business.
You do not know how many quality... hugs and kisses I got because of this nail and from whom.
(one of those subliminals, or what?)
Other than that I like you and thank you for responding.
Have a Really Scary Halloween.

I don't care. Based on the people I personally know with German cars (Merc, VW, Audi, BMW), they are the most reliable vehicles we know. The key is to do proper maintenance as recommended. People who pick these cars tend to demand higher standards, and will nitpick and complain about the smallest things. Which means more service visits, and more recorded 'complaints' or service 'work'. Beyond that, to allow for better performance, tighter tolerances come with the territory. So the slightest deviation will demand attention, but it doesn't necessarily mean failure or defect.
