Default A4 Callipers seizing after AirCare

Hi, I am from Vancouver and new to this forum.

I carried my A4 to Air Care recently.

Since the Air Care where the car went on the dyno,
my A4's callipers has seized 3 times and it is impossible to drive the car when this happens.

After about an hour, it releases and the car can be driven as normal.

Has anyone seen where the ABS brakes go wonky after being through the AirCare.
my car has traction control.

Thanks

Hi,

Welcome to the forum! Do they have a 4 wheel drive dyno for AirCare?

I am not sure what "AirCare" is and why would you take your car there, but I have experienced a similar problems with brakes on a different car when the flex hoses going to the calipers colapsed and will not release the pressure after applying the brakes!

SOLUTION: replace the flex hose, but better: when one's gone the'll all go, so replace them all!

There is a separate 4 wheel or traction line and dyno.
Air Care here is where they test the vehicle diagnostics and CO, NO emissions etc

Also, I am getting this P0118 error when they do the vehicle diagnostics.
Anyone know how to fix this?

On a B6 this code is
P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High
Check G62 - Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

Hi

One thing which I did not mention is the

the car was driving fine until we took it into Air Care in Vancouver.

There was a separate traction control entrance and while testing
we noticed a lot of smoke.

After driving the car out, we noticed that the
right front calliper and the left back callipers are seizing.

It is strange that they are diagonally opposite.
Someone suggested the hoses but they look fine.

Could it be the ABS or traction control has gone wonky?
Has anyone seen this before?

The seizing has happened 3 times and as a result the brake pads and callipers
have been burnt out.

Reluctant to change them until we figure out what is the cause.

i know theres probably no relation, but the same thing happened on my buddies M5, the brakes went out diagonally and his left front and right rear calipers gripped...

his problem was with the abs electronics control unit...

Thanks

This is what I suspect.
My mechanic friend could not find anything else wrong
so I should take it to Audi to look at.
