Hi there,

I didn't have any luck posting in the region section, so I figure I'll try my luck here.

I have a 97 2.8 A4 Quattro; just recently the CEL came on during a trip, I have also been having some idle issues (after driving a while in bad traffic, engine would sometimes die coming to or at a stop, with a lower than usual idle speed).

I understand that I need a vag-com tool to check what the code is.

What exactly do I need? and where's the best place for me to get it?

Am I correct that it will reset service lights as well? (it's flashing oil at the tripmeter, but I know i'm not due for one for another 2000kms)
