Hi I have audi a4 2000 1.8T 5V. Last time i toke my car to deler for the service and Irealized they write Quatro on the paper.

when i am looking on engin there is no INDICATION.
Just inside it say Model,family=A4,Quatro.
Is this car Quatro or not. becuse i need to know when I sell the car.
And wht is this 5v they are generally 4v or 6v

5V refers to the number of valves inside each cylinder. The Audi engines of your vintage were special in having 5 valves - usually 2 valves is seen more often with either a 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder engine. To confirm you have Quattro look underneath at the rear axle. If you see a differential, you have Quattro. There are usually Quattro badges on the front grill and trunk lid as well as the interior panel just above the glovebox. It's possible, however, that a previous owner may have removed those badges.
