2.8L catalytic converter replacement.
Can anyone nail down the perfect universal cat to weld into my 1997 audi a4 2.8L. any past experiences some one can mention. iv ordered the 9000 series magnaflow ones and am hoping this will not trip the computer although if it does thats no loss because im throwing the code anyways with 4 brand new o2 sensors. Any other cats anyone has used would be appreciated!!!
Btw because there is literally no part numbers or info about this on the net iv been able to find the exhaust size from what i have measured is a 2 inch inlet 2 inch outlet and the pre cat flex couplings are roughly 3-4 inches in length. my total cost was $ 22 each for the flex couplings and $70 each for the magnaflows

Re: 2.8L catalytic converter replacement.
Hi,
From what I read, there are 2 companys in Canada who makes Cat converter for everyone. I have used RITECAT for other of my cars and worked well. Just get it in the size you want: 2"in/2"out.
Let us know, I need to pass emission with this one and want to know if it works.

i could care less about emissions....we dont have aircare or any emission testing places on the island so i have no way of testing it. the jet stream just blows all the noxious gases east Im purely trying to get the check engine light off.
