2.8 timing belt job and p1392 afterwards???
hey guys, i just got the timing belt kit done on my 99 a4 2.8, and now im getting a p1392 cam sensor code. he told me i should change the cam sensor. Now when im driving ,the exhasut note sounds different... even the engine.. it runs smooth except for a mild vibration just before the rpms settle back down to idle. It sounds like the bank 1 and bank 2 timing is not in sync. if the timing was out a tooth on one cyl head, would it cause the different engine sound lol??? anyone hear something like this? it used to purr, now its just sounds weird. its not that bad , i can definately hear the difference, especially with the magnaflow muffler. any input would be greatly appreciated , thank you.

Set the crank pulley to the TDC mark, pop off the valve covers and check to make sure all 4 cams are at the proper mark. If they are dead-on, at least you can say the timing is right.
