GIAC tune?
Hi everyone,
I am wondering how many of us here on this forum are interested in the GIAC tune? I have it on my 335i. It is very reliable and to say the least, it really does make night and day difference.

Where did you get it done?
I am debating between Stasis and GIAC tune. I was told by my sales that Stasis tune done in house by the dealer would not void the warranty. I know what GIAC is capable of (previous experience with my 335i), but not sure if I want to throw my warranty out the window.
Anyone here with the Stasis tune want to chime in?

I had it done a week ago along with a Alu Kreuz - well worth it in my opinion.
As for warranty, you "throw" your Audi warranty out the window if you install any tune. What you are getting is a Stasis warranty. I encourage you to goto Audizine and read the thread title Audi Voided my warranty. Not to scare you but to open your eyes as it seems that Audi is automatically collecting data from your car when it goes in for service without the dealer even knowing. Audi then flags your VIN with the code "TD1". this means your powertrain warranty is now in question (I did not say void) and any warranty work will be looked at by Audi.
This will effect those with Stasis warranties because the impression I get is that Stasis will be footing a larger bill going forward.

Derek not a problem. It's actually Kasper. Good guys, Kasper and his father. I've ordered EMT complete exhaust with downpipes and adjustable control arms from them as well. Cantbwait fornthat siht to arrive. Its killing me waiting. Pfaff's pricing couldn't touch theirs. You can sit in their shop while they work. Most places won't let you do that. Too bad they are in Guelph or they would get all my business.
