Hi!

I plan on buying one, but not too sure if it has a push button start for the winters or not. Plus, is the car good in snow?

Should I buy this or VW GTi?

push button start is part of the 'premium' S4 or whatever it's called, but I don't think it's available on the cheaper one. Thus the S4 you'd be looking at starts at $60,000.

So really, you're asking 'should I buy the $60,000 4 door AWD Audi S4...or the $28,000 2wd 2door+hatchback GTI?'

Why not throw a 458 in there too while you're at it

Hi!

I was aware that there was only one version above the A4, but I guess I did not check that out.

I know the GTi is rather affordable, but the interior and performance are similar to Audi, especially the A4. So with both the A4 and GTi in mind, which would you pick? The price is similar if the GTi is five door.

Wow Tony! Those are nice cars. Are you a businessman? Here in Calgary, cars are expensive when it comes to buying and selling. I used to know a mechanic who drove a lot, and then turned the mileage backwards to still get some profit.

I did not know that they had an updated GTi. Will it be faster than the 2011 Audi S4?

not even remotely close

you'd have to get pretty heavy into mods to make a GTI faster than a B8 S4...and even then a tune will give the S4 another big jump that the GTI will struggle to make up. Basically a stage III GTI should be able to do the job...but that's thousands of dollars in modifications on a 4 cylinder engine. Not sure it makes a ton of sense.

Yeah, the S4 is really nice, but what does B8 mean? The 2011 S4's come in only V6 varient.
