Centering Ring - Plastic??

Centering Ring - Plastic??
Hopefully someone can help an Audi newbie. This is my first German car and I was shocked when there was an extra "centering ring" used on my aftermarket rims for the winter. Of course I bought them from TireRack in the use so they use metal?? centering rings and one stuck to the car after winter wear. My audi dealership mechanic said to get plastic centering rings for next winter so this doesn't happen again in the spring.
Can anyone recommend a place either online or local (Oakville/Toronto) that can supply me with 4 plastic centering rings.
Here are the rims I have
18X8 5-112 ET48 OZ ENERGY
Thanks in advance.

Re: Centering Ring - Plastic??
Ditto with ebay. I bought the rings for my A4 off a company on ebay and they arrived fast and were a perfect fit.

Re: Centering Ring - Plastic??
Those are great but not what I am looking for. I am looking for the centering ring that centers the rim when mounting it. It is not needed on Audi rims cause it's build in but needed on aftermarket rims.

Re: Centering Ring - Plastic??
Those should be the rings you need. I bought the hubscentric rings for my non A4 rims to convert from 66.6mm to 57.1mm to properly center my rim on the hub. Are you looking for spacers instead to give more offset on the rim?

Re: Centering Ring - Plastic??
Your car is a 66.6 mm hub so you need to get something that downsizes the wheel to that size (ask Tire Rack). If not able to locate them on ebay, try 1010tires.com out west (I know they have the plastic ones as I had to get a set from them last year).

Re: Centering Ring - Plastic??
I guess the link I sent you to the ebay store doesn't work properly. If you do a search in ebay for hubcentric ring 66.6 and then the size of the your rim center you should find lots of results.
See if this link works better for a more general search http://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_from=...All-Categories
And a different link for the seller I used http://stores.ebay.ca/SHINSEIUSA

Go to Northern Motorsports Walkers Line Burlington. They will have them in stock. The ones I bought from them were plastic. Tell them S4 Dave sent you. Ask for Johnny or Dale. I am a regular customer there.
