Default Advice for some lowering springs S4 (B8)

Just purchased the S4 yesterday (B and just looking for some ideas for lowering springs perhaps some reputable companies

Congrats on the Purchase.

If you want springs you have a few options. H&R, KW, Eibach, Stasis are the popular brands. I personally Run the H&R OE Springs as they are the slightest drop you can get for the vehicle ~1.2".

If you want it lower you can get the H&R Sports (1.5") and the Super Sports are even lower.

Thanks how do you find the ride quality with the 1.2" drop. do you have any photos

It is a bit bouncier but I got used to it right away. I had sway bars and end links installed at the same time so overall the car is a lot flatter in corners and handles significantly better. I doubt much of it has to do with the springs though.

The stock wheels look goofy on the car when you lower it. They sit pretty far inside the wheel wells, so I ended up putting 15mm spacers on too. I don't recommend going that high as you will rub with a full load in your car. If you went to a narrower tire (245) instead of the 255 that comes stock you would be fine.


Here is 15mm Spacers on the stock peelers lowered on OE Springs.
