Re: 2011 S4 with or without Navigation?
It would be nice to see pics of your car. I pick up mine next week and will post pics.
My car has the following options:
S4 premium S-tronic
-B&O
-Sport diff
-carbon atlas
-magma red leather and quartz grey exterior.
How about you?
Thanks and I look forward to learning more about the S4 on this forum and through driving experience.

Here ya go - I've got sport diff and brown leather on Quartz, summer setup with BBS CH-R 19x9.5 et45 on 255/35 Michi PS3s
Winter setup on 18s
And when I throw coils on.... might not go quite that low - 0.75" is all I need

Re: 2011 S4 with or without Navigation?
^ Nice car !!
For what its worth, I also prefer the controls on the dash rather than between the seats and I'm only average height. In my mom's B8 A4, I find it very distracting to have to look down at the controls compared to the RNSE controls in my TTS. BTW, I purchased the RNSE after taking delivery of my car as I knew I could purchase it for substantially less and install it myself. No idea if that can be done in the B8's ...

Thank you sirs. I would assume anything could be bought and installed aftermarket - cost likely prohibitive though to go OEM. Haven't heard of anyone doing any MMI mods in the B8 yet - a few sub mods, but that's about it.
Gotta love the CH family eh

I have been driving my S4 for few days now and I love the fact the MMI is on the dash. I don't have to look down to push the buttons. Everything is right in front of me. I love the way this car drives and handles. I can't wait to get past the 2,000km mark to open it up.

Glad you're happy with it! I wouldn't be too worried about opening it up now though - just be sure the oil temp is warm (>80 degrees). I subscribe to the 'seat-your-piston-rings-properly' break-in period philosophy.
At 0 celcius outside is should take a good 15 minutes to warm up under easy driving. Find someone with a VagCom tool, buy them a 6-pack, and enable your lap timer/oil temp gauge. Why on earth Audi would disable this feature for the North American market I have no idea.

Re: 2011 S4 with or without Navigation?
I didn't get the Nav or the side assist, and quite happy.
-already have a GPS
-neck works just fine for reversing
-tall, don't need tilting side-mirrors
-side assist just a scary concept - and there are drivers that
WILL get into the habit of not checking their blind spot. Always cautious around other S4s lol.
-Didn't need HomeLink - already have an opener and the fob button works just fine
I think it's great for those that want or need all the bells and whistles, but IMO it's just more things that'll eventually break. Savings went (or going) into mods instead.

Whaaa? I don't have it - you have the Prem+ too don't you Seinsmeld?
The mirrors move automatically to their preset positions with the memory seat function, but definitely no movement when I throw it in reverse
