Winter Tire fitment question
Will winter steelies from a 2005 Audi A4 fit my 2006 A3?
The 2005 A4 winter rim specs are as follows:
- 205/60/16
- Bolt pattern: 5 x 112
Will this rim clear my brakes?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Winter Tire fitment question
Sorry, I can't really answer your question since I don't know if the offset for the A4 is the same for the A3, but I thought you should know that the overall sizing doesn't appear to be optimal. I'm guessing that you've got a 225/45-17 on your A3 now. Although there are 16" winter wheel/tire packages available for the A3 they're recommended to be 205/55-16, so your speedo would read about 3% slower than you're actually travelling. Just something to consider...

Re: Winter Tire fitment question
I've been told by a garage that they have had hit and miss experience fitting 16" steel rims from A4s onto A3s. Not sure if this experience is exclusive to Audi brand steel rims, or not.
