If you're financing the car, the size of the down payment does not give you any bargaining power. The only way you have bargaining power is if it's a straight sale with no trade, regardless of how you finance it.

With mileage, I think 20K per year is considered average on a daily driven car so somewhere between 60-80K km would be avg. for an 07.

Sorry, no pics of the S4, haven't got it yet. I'd wait for something a little cheaper in the A4 department, probably with lower mileage too. Best of luck, good vehicle, esp. with the APR chip and a 6 speed.

So your saying that 89 000 km is too much for an 07 A4 priced at $27 995??

For the 2009 and newer the Haldex was upgraded to GenIV which activates before wheel slippage occurs. It is a proactive system vs the previous generation's reactive system.

As for the ridiculous claim of xenon lights blinding other drivers, its the lack of projectors with a cutoff (which is the case when people buy aftermarket xenon) that blinds drivers. I've never seen any OE system without a cutoff.

Yeah, price is way high, but to me all audi dealer prices are very high right now. The car your lookin at is probably worth $23-24K max. and maybe $26-27K if CPO. But keep in kind that when you buy a CPO car from a dealer you can get really low finance rates from .09 - 2.9% depending on term. This can save you a few thousand $$ over 4 or more years if financed. So when you factor this in, the price difference between private sale and dealer CPO cars is much smaller.

All turbos have lag. Some are more noticeable than others. A smaller turbo will spool sooner than a large turbo so you may not notice the lag on the A4 due to the size of the turbo and boost restriction. In the Porsche 930 there was a single large turbo and the lag was so significant that it gained a reputation for it. What manufacturers like Porsche did to reduce the lag on high performance engines that have higher boost is to install two smaller turbos like in the B5 S4 2.7T. With smaller turbos the lag is reduced because there is less exhaust pressure to spool up the turbos.

Hope this makes sense.
