Hi - new to the forum, not new to Audi. I am waiting for delivery of A3, and it has been 13 weeks already, with no firm date provided as yet. Has anyone ordered lately and waited this long? Thanks.

hey... welcome to the forum... did you order a specific combo? maybe that's why the wait is a bit long?

Hi JMCC, I also special ordered my A3 because it didn't exist in Canada, so here I am waiting like you, although I have not researched it, my delearship said they have a tracking number which should tell you where you car is at on production and delievery, maybe give them a call.

The dealership told me that Audi has given them a date in March, but that cars usually arrive before the date that Audi gives. They think it will be here at the end of the month, which puts delivery in the 15 week range. Just wondering if this is similar to what others are experiencing. This will be my third Audi, but the other two were not specifically ordered (1 on lot, 1 dealer trade).

The car has DSG, S Line, Open Sky and iPod Integration. No special colour (brilliant black). Don't think there is anything unusual here to hold it up.

^ not to take anything away from your special order, but they couldn't find a combo like that through dealer trades?

Well, I ordered it back in November for delivery to coincide with the end of my current lease, which is next month. I still have a little time, I just didn't think it would take so long.

I got my A3 in December and I picked up one they were about to receive: 2T, white, s-line, ipod and roof. Ii suited me quite well and I love it
Total wait time: 2 weeks
Hopefully you will get a rebate, I think they are $1,500 cheaper todays vs. December

I got a phone call yesterday saying that it will be in port (Halifax) on 2/29, at my dealer approx. 3/7. That will put it at about 16 weeks total for delivery for those who may be contemplating an order.

Daniel - I did get the rebate - they honoured any price decreases etc. for 90 days. My salesperson said that Audi was considering discontinuing this practice for 2008 - I hope they don't. We also have a Mercedes, and they don't do this - I told them Audi does, and they should too. I would not have placed the order for the Audi back in November if I they didn't agree to give me the best deal between order and delivery. I would have waited.

Daniel, it sounds like we (will) have identical cars except for colour (black v white).
