..but I finally took delivery of my '06 A3 !

I ordered it back in mid February because I wanted roof rails and no Open Sky, so it had to be a custom order. Holy **** that was a long wait, but it's over now. I don't have pics yet, it's been raining the 1.5 days I've had it (if you're from Van you know how it is).

It's a 2.0T DSG, Lava Gray, Cold Weather and Bi-Xenon. I haven't been able to really push it at all cause I'm doing the 1k break in. I picked it up with 18km on the odometer and in one day I've only been able to run it up to 98km. I traded in my Mazda3 sedan...the A3 outclasses it so totally that I won't waste time with a comparison.

I already have euro tailights to install, hopefully this weekend. I also have a set of Hagus matte silver mirror housings, but now that I've seen the car with rails in person I may not install the housings after all (too much silver with the wheels and rails). Stay tuned for a sweet set of mirror cover for sale....possibly.

Anyway, not sure if anyone is still reading this forum, but I thought I'd post just in case. If you see an Lava Gray A3 with roof rails downtown Van, N.Van or in Kits it could be me !

Yeah, for sure..first chance I get I'm takin pics. I need to record how it looks before I hit the suspension. Ideally a small drop, mostly to take care of the disparity between the front and rear wheel gap.
