Headlight switch problem? A3 2004 Sportback
Hi Guys, Newbie here.
I really need some assistance on a confusing and baffling issue in relation to my headlights. I really hope someone can help?
I own a 2004 2.0 TDI Sportback that runs standard headlights (Not LEDS).
The problem is that the headlights come on to Main beam when the car is started, even though the light switch is off. (Set in the 0 position)
To turn the main beams off, I have to turn the switch to sidelights.
The car is not equipped with Daytime running lights.
Does anyone know why this might be happening or how to disable the main beams from coming on when ignition is turned to on?
I have attached a picture of the light switch I have.
Please help, my headlight bulbs keep blowing as they are on most of the time!
