Golf on steroids?
How much about the new A3 is upgraded from the Golf and how much of it is the same?
I was really disapointed in the look of the new Golf (the old shape will always be a classic) but I really enjoy looking at photos of the new A3.

Exterior appearance is personal. I like how the new GTI look. But one thing is for sure, the A3's interior is head and shoulder better than the GTI. And depending on what option you are looking to add, it can also be quite a bit more expensive than the GTI.
The drivetrain is identical to the 2.0T. The 3.2Q would be the same as the R32 which we won't get in Canada.
A3 is built in Germany, GTI, I'm not sure.
