FREE UPsolute Chip (from UPsolute Toronto)
Thats right FREE UPsolute chip! The value of this chip is $550.
We are looking for an A3 or GTI with the 2.0T engine and manual transmission to do a before and after dyno (preferably a full stock car). Install of the chip is done through the OBD-II port.
If anyone is interested please contact me by email chris@upsolute.ca

I see on the UPsolute website that the dealer will not be able to detect the modding, but the next item in the FAQ says that the dealership might void the warranty.. not so good, considering I just got my A3. Is the mod reversible? And has anyone had experience with the dealer finding out and then making a stink out of it?
I might be willing to submit to this test, given the answer and timing.

I can honestly tell you, I have not heard of a REAL case of warranty being void due to chip install. The install is totally reversible. What we do is always make a copy of your stock file. If you wish to take the car for service we will be happy to return your car back to stock free of charge and re-install the chip once you are done with the service.

on top of the mod being reversible...at DT Finecars Audi...they should assist you without having any problems... if i recall correctly the service manager himself has a chipped 1.8T....so yea...im not 100% sure though...but if u do go that route and a dealer insist they void they you can contact them..
